about us
Mine All Meyn, Inc. has existed as a corporate entity since the spring of 2001. It was founded by me,
Oliver Meyn when I'd had enough of working as a small cog in a very large, inefficient machine (also known
as the proverbial mega-corporation). Though it has the potential for pretentiousness, I choose to refer
to the company in the plural because I both hire others to work on projects with me as well as consider
it its own entity separate from me personally, with its own set of relationships.
The original focus of the company was Java programming, with GIS manipulation and small, internet ready
modules (eg for specific reporting tasks) as the main focii. Though some of that work has been done, by
far the predominant focus in the recent past has been website / web application development.
The websites that we have created have, for the most part, been heavily database dependent, with an
emphasis on useability and a certain transparency of the underlying data processing. These sites have been
built with an aim to helping our clients communicate more effectively with their stakeholders by facilitating
an easy transfer of data. Our portfolio describes some of these projects in more
detail.
The fact that our clients have all been groups keen on preserving and promoting sustainable communities,
both in the physical and social sense, is no coincidence. Our philosophy is
what guides us in our efforts to be a good "corporate citizen".
